Cake International
12-14 April 2013
We arrive at Cake International, the Sugarcraft, Cake Decorating & Baking Show, where the Master Chef of Great Britain, Paul Da-Costa-Greaves, takes to the stage to whip up some Revamped Mini Black Forest Gateaux cup cakes, created for, and in honour of, Coffee, Cake & Kink (and made with "Mistress" chilli chocolate).
The hunger for home baking has made Cake International the largest event of its kind in the world, with over 70,000 people attending across four venues, and we are right in the middle of it! We are joined by CCK fans who also get a chance to get all sticky in front of an international audience - or just quietly enjoy, for those with less of an exhibitionist streak :)
Our competition winner Jenny "had such an AMAZING day! Paul was lovely, and getting up on stage with him was such a huge treat and a wonderful experience! We spent a long time in the VIP lounge and met Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry in there for a quick chat too!".
Here is the whole day written up on her blog:
